Welcome

I am a Professor at the University of Essex.

I work on non-cooperative models of network formation and network games.  My work also incorporates models of network in a variety of different applications ranging from consumers' search model, advertising models, political economy and labour markets. I am also interested on two-sided markets and models on Awareness.

My most recent research agenda focuses on the study of strategic communication in networks, the study of dynamic trading models in networks and the study of the design of optimal organizational network.

This is a new journal for a new discipline -- one using the network paradigm, focusing on actors and relational linkages, to inform research, methodology, and applications from many fields across the natural, social, engineering and informational sciences. Given growing understanding of the interconnectedness and globalization of the world, network methods are an increasingly recognized way to research aspects of modern society along with the individuals, organizations, and other actors within it.
