I am Lecturer (Assistant Professor) at the Department of Government in the University of Essex.
My research interests lie at the intersection of International Relations and Political Economy. My recent papers focus on the relationship between leader change and war duration, as well as on the political economy of natural disasters. I also have an active research agenda in Political Methodology that concentrates in survival analysis and copula functions.
