interests

my principal research interests lie in the field of robotics and cognitive sciences. I am specially interested in using complex and dynamic robots as a means to investigate and build hypothesis on human-related phenomena. I'm also interested in the topics of machine learning and probabilistic robotics.

I'm currently doing a PhD in the University of Essex under the supervision of Owen Holland . The focus of my research is formalizing the problem of imagination by finding suitable architectures for dealing with it. I'm particularly interested in designing architectures with different computational/behavioural properties in order to make comparisons between them. It is my aim to produce architectures where the cognitive systems are able to imagine changes in the world, rather than being stuck to navigation problems.
