Future Events
Fifth Celtic Linguistics Conference
At a business meeting at the Fourth Celtic Linguistics Conference it
was agreed that a Fifth conference should be held, ideally in
September 2005 and participants were asked to consider whether they
could host such an event. Plans to hold CLC5 on the Isle of Skye in
July or September 2007 have now fallen through, please mail Bob
Borsley (rborsley-at-essex.ac.uk) or Louisa Sadler
(louisa-at-essex.ac.uk) if you can volunteer to host the conference.
Lingua Special Issue
A special issue
of Lingua containing selected papers from the Fourth CLC is currently
in press and should appear in 2006.
We gratefully acknowledge the financial support of the Linguistics Association of
Great Britain and the British
Academy.
