Harry Beck: The Paris Connection by Mark Ovenden. Creative Review, March, 2009. Why did the Parisians reject Henry Beck's diagammatic map? Because it was full of errors and twisted Paris sideways.
Order on the Underground by Stefanie Schramm. Credit Suisse Bulletin, March, 2009. Discusses automated metro map generation, but also includes my thoughts about breaking rules. N.B. my quotes were translated into German, and back again!
