Welcome to my website. In these pages you can find a little information about me and my research.
I am currently an EPSRC funded PhD student at the School of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering at the University of Essex, under the supervision of Prof. Edward Tsang. I also hold an MSc in Computer Studies (with distinction), also from the University of Essex, and a BSc in Economic Sciences, from the Department of Economic Sciences from the University of Athens, Greece.
My research focuses on Genetic Programming, and its use on Financial and Economic applications. If you are interested in it, please feel to have a look on my research page and also on the relevant publications.
I have also twice been a visiting research student to the AI-Econ Center at National Cheng Chi University of Taiwan, where I worked under the supervision of Prof. Shu-Heng Chen .
Outside my academic life, I am also a member of the Residents Support Network (RSN), here at the University of Essex, where I hold the post of RSN Co-ordinator. As a Co-ordinator, I supervise, monitor and support a team of RSN Assistants, who are responsible for providing help, support and information to students who live in university-owned accommodation.
