I am happy to supervise MA and PhD students in the following areas:

Phonology; including second language acquisition, phonetics-phonology interface, phonology-morphology interface

Morphology

Phonology-syntax interface; including prosodic phonology

Work on African languages

Requirements

Students must discuss and agree their proposal with me

Students must prepare a literature review list to accompany the proposal

Supervision will be in scheduled slots made by prior arrangement

We must agree a schedule of completion of your work

I will give you feedback in person or in writing within a reasonable period of time

I will help you to organise your ideas and give you guidance with regards to your final topic
