The calling of all meetings of Essex Nightline. Preparation of agendas and minutes for all meetings and their safe-keeping. Ensuring compliance with the Essex Nightline Constitution and its safe-keeping. Co-ordinating auxiliary committees. Representing Essex Nightline in support of the Coordinator.

The smooth running of the Nightline centre and facilities, providing such equipment for the Nightline flat as may be required in liaison with the Finance Officer.

Operations Group Leader: Lorna

Responsibility for the welfare of all volunteers within the Operations Group, acting as an effective liaison between the committee and the volunteer cohort. Helps encourage the development and growth of volunteers. Organises socials within the group.

As Operations Group Leader, works closely with the Operations Officer in helping ensure the smooth running of the Nightline service.

Personnel Officer: Sabrina

Ensuring, to their best ability that Essex Nightline is fully staffed and operational as such. Contacting the general membership, via the group leaders. Recruiting and selecting potential Nightline volunteers. Keeping accurate records of those duties done by each nightliner.

Media Officer: Bill

Ensuring a continious online presence formulated toward publicity and awareness of Nightline services, furthering Nightline's welfare aims. This includes social media and editing the Nightline website. The Media Officer often works closely with the Publicity Officer to deliver coherence across the Nightline brand. .

Information Officer: Madalina

The accessibility and reliability of all information kept for the provision of Essex Nightline. Operates the running of Nightline information service (Info @ Nightline). Provide relevant info on all University of Essex campuses for use of Essex Nightline services. Maintaining and updating the website.

Fundraising Officer: Jack

The fundraising officer is responsible for the organisation of events to raise money to keep Nightline running. Working in close conjunction with the finance officer, the fundraising officer aims to ensure Nightline has enough funds for both big and small purchases.

Develops the public image of Essex Nightline and associated services. Informs the committee of activities held by various organisations which may be of use to Nightline. Ensuring representation of Essex Nightline services on all campuses of the University of Essex.

Training old and new volunteers, preparing training texts to assist with this process and ensure the minimum standards of performance for Essex Nightline. Organising and preparing training events for Nightline volunteers.
