Journal of Linguistics, etc.

I have been an editor of Journal of Linguistics, the journal of the Linguistics Association of Great Britain, since 1994. I currently share this role with Nigel Fabb of the University of Strathclyde and Caroline Heycock of the University of Edinburgh. Kerstin Hoge of the University of Oxford is reviews editor and Ewa Jaworska is managing editor. (See here for a list of editors since 1965.) If you don’t already subscribe, you should consider taking out a subscription and submitting your articles to us.

I was a member of the committee of the Linguistics Association of Great Britain from 1988 to 1993, and a member of the steering committee of the North-West Centre for Linguistics from 1997 to 1999. I organized an annual Welsh Syntax Seminar from 1992 to 1996 and again in 1999. From 2000 to 2008 it was organized by Bob Morris Jones of Aberystwyth. It is now organized by David Willis of the University of Cambridge, Maggie Tallerman of the University of Newcastle and myself. I am also a founder member of the East Anglian Welsh Syntax Circle
