The first link on the top of this page it to some EPR related websites. Other links are to my pages.

But what is EPR anyway?

Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) also known as Electron Spin Resonance (ESR) is a physical phenomenon of absorption of electromagnetic radiation by a special type of molecules, when such molecules are placed in a magnetic field.

These special molecules are called paramagnetic because their total electron spin is not equal to zero and therefore they can be considered as small magnets. A typical example of paramagnetic molecules is free radicals - chemically active and therefore usually short lived species.
